Day 8: Favorite quote

Besides sa philosophy ni House about lying at sa perspective niya tungkol sa humanity, may dalawa talaga akong favorite niyang quote from season 1.

Eto quote na'to, sinabi niya to kay Foreman sa Seaso 1 Episode 9: DNR. Ano kase, si Foreman kinukuha siya nung dati niyang boss tapos balak niya mag-resign. Yung doctor na yun, dating doctor yun nang bagong pasyente ni House tapos basta pinaglalaban ni House na mali yung treatment nung dating doctor at makakalakad pa ulit yung pasyente. Tapos eto yung sabi niya kay Foreman kung ano yung difference nila nung doctor.

"You took a chance, you did something great. You were wrong, but it was still great. You should feel great that it was great. You should feel like crap that it was wrong. That's the difference between him and me; he thinks you do your job, and what will be will be. I think that what I do, and what you do matters. He sleeps better at night, he shouldn't."

Yun. Wala lang. Inspired kasi ako dun sa sinabi niya. Kasi parang nagkamali si Foreman in the past nung boss pa niya yung isang doctor tapos parang sabi ni House, hindi pwedeng puro gagawin mo na lang lagi yung trabaho mo, pag ok ok, pag hindi hindi. Tapos sabi nga ni House, sa kanya kapag nag-trabaho siya, iniisip niya yung ginagawa niya and gusto niya yung mga apprentice niya (sila Foreman) na maging maayos din yung trabaho nila.

Tapos eto na naman sa Season 1 Episode 11: Detox.

Eto talaga kasi yung reason kung bakit mahal, kung bakit nating mga fans mahal si Greg. Dahil sa risks na ginagawa niya. Kahit na sabihin nila na hindi siya sumusunod sa rules, yun nga yung  risks na ginagawa niya kahit na nakikita natin as purely selfish reasons, hindi naman talaga. Ayun.
