In the eyes of a teenager, or an eighteen-year-old to be exact, ano nga ba ang Cybercrime Law? Ano nga ba ang naiintindihan ko at ano nga ba ang pagkaka-unawa ko?
Ang pagkaka-intindi ko, Cybecrime Law seeks to punish "cybercrime offenses" tulad ng child pornography, identity theft, spamming, cybersex, hacking and libel.
Sabi sa Chapter II (Punishable Acts) ng nasabing batas, ang libel daw ang isa sa mga pwedeng maparusahan.
And to think na siningit lang ang "libel" dahil may isang taong hindi matanggap ang pagkakamali niya at kasing taas ng Mt. Everest ang pride at kasing kapal ng Uratex ang mukha. Siningit niya yon dahil hindi niya matanggap na kaya siya binabatikos ay dahil may mga mamamayan na matatalino at nabubunyag ang mga mababahong sikreto niya tulad ng pangongopya niya.
Wala daw ikakagalit kung walang tinatago, pero ikaw ba, kapag nalaman mong may laging nakatingin sa'yo ng hindi mo alam, hindi ka ba magagalit?
We may not be old enough or not smart enough to understand, pero hindi naman kaming lubusang tanga. Internet is one of the many things Filipinos enjoy. Dito kami masaya. Dito namin nailalabas lahat ng mga saloobin namin ng WALANG nambabasag ng trip. Alam niyo bang masaya kami dito nung hindi pa kayo ume-epal? Tapos bigla kayong magkakaron "rules" on what to do on the internet.
Well let me just say, I refuse to do what you want me to do. If bashing unfit politicians on the internet is a criminal offense, then I'd be willing to go to jail for my crimes.

(4) Libel. — The unlawful or prohibited acts of libel as defined in Article 355 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, committed through a computer system or any other similar means which may be devised in the future.Teka teka teka. Parang ang isang dahilan nga na may mga bloggers sa Pilipinas, sa internet, ay para masabi natin, masabi nila, at para maintindihan natin kung ano-ano ang mga mali sa ginagawa ng mga taong nakaupo sa gobyerno natin.

Real-Time Collection of Traffic Data. — Law enforcement authorities, with due cause, shall be authorized to collect or record by technical or electronic means traffic data in real-time associated with specified communications transmitted by means of a computer system.Oo, alam ko na na "communication’s origin, destination, route, time, date, size, duration, or type of underlying service, but not content, nor identities" lang ang sakop nito pero tangina di ba? Tinanggalan ka na nga ng karapatan para ilabas ang mga opinyon mo, tinanggalan ka pa ng privacy.
